Welcome to develop.eclops.com.

Here you will find tips and solutions on how to build and publish a website, this site is primarily focused on using SiteSpinner software by Virtual Mechanics, but there will also be info on basic website development in general.

Now I'm certainly not a Guru or top of the line expert at web development and coding, but I do have a few solutions that worked for me and they just might help others too.

The site is only small at the moment but I will endeavour to add as much info as I can over time.

I created this site because I had nowhere to leave my test pages permanently online after creating them and I needed a place for reference to look back on if  I wanted  to use a particular solution again at a later date. So with this I thought if I need to test something new or I know the answer to a question on the Virtual Mechanics forum and I need to show an example or demo of my answer, I can post the example here. For example, a Virtual Mechanics Forum user started a discussion about 'how to add linear shade to a text box', I thought I had a solution so I made up a test page and published it online, but after a while I had to take it down because I had published the example page in the public_html folder of one of  my projects, which is undesirable because it clutters your site on the server when you mix tests and demo's with a permanent site you already have running, I needed a place just for testing and solutions. So now I have somewhere to post my linear shaded box page again here.

So now that I am posting information about website building here I thought it might help other people who are looking for the same examples that I have already created.

Please if you would like to discuss any of the topics in this site click here, alternatively click on the view this discussion button on the relevent page or start a disscussion on the virtual mechanics forum here.

Enjoy,
Tonga.
